John Illsley is one of the founder members of Dire Straits, who released the all-time classic album 'Brothers In Arms', spawning several high-selling singles from it, as well as other hits such as 'Lady Writer' and 'Romeo & Juliet'. John Illsley has produced two albums of his own with Mark Knopfler as a guest musician, and has helped with Mark's personal projects and charities. He released two more albums, with influence from the Celtic-based band Cunla.
Andrew Roachford was the founder member of the band Roachford, who started out supporting Terence Trent D'Arby and The Christians, and went on to become Columbia Records’s biggest-selling domestic act for over ten years, having big hits in the 80s with 'Cuddly Toy' and 'Family Man'. He joined Mike + The Mechanics in 2010. He is currently on tour in the UK.
